Default Do you tend to be more sure or unsure when communicating?

I just noticed this when responding to a previous thread, that I said "very few", when I really meant "no one that I have any experience with to know well.". it seems to make a good "list" type of thread.

    Could you elaborate?

Do I tend to be more sure or unsure when communicating? In what sense?

I think I'm sure when communicating my opinions, and often when communicating assessments, but not when communicating facts.

It depends on the subject and my level of knowledge/familiarity.

If we're discussing technical stuff, then I'm more sure if I know I have more expertise in the subject than the other person. Otherwise...when I'm communicating, it just comes out.

Depends on my mood and what I'm trying to convey/ achieve.
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

I always try to assert myself upon the conversation, to control the flow and texture of my interaction with others. Because I am extremely controlling of my interaction with others I am very sure of myself.

Uh, I'm sure of myself in conversations, if you mean if I have issues in expressing myself or self-confidence problems.

I am not sure of unsure things; If I have a hunch that this-and-this is so-and-so, perhaps, I don't present it as if it was a sure thing. I most often express my uncertainty with it. I don't express it in the way that I BELIEVE something but I am unsure of MYSELF: no, I believe in myself but I am unsure of the thing in question. I rarely seem as someone who doesn't know what to say. Quite the contrary.

I tend to feel rather unsure of what I say, meaning that I feel like anything I say is open to be questioned, but others say I tend to be perceived as extremely secure.

I don't really have problems communicating unless I am in front of a huge crowd...
I bet they'll put something in the air tonight, just to light your face.

But I thought you were an Extravert, and that extraverts didn't have trouble dealing with noisy crowds. I always assumed that was what made them extraverts?
