    1-4: Random people.

    5: Me

Although it'd change if I were given more criteria/specific situations.

This is pretty much my answer as well.

There's a reason I said a big stack of papers.

But I presume damnation means going to hell. In which case, I'll sacrifice myself. I mean, it ends up being just like the death thing, except me vs billions instead of hundreds. Afterwards, I may scream that I change my mind, but I figure I'd say yes in the begining.

Is this what NT guys like to think about? I do not like talking about death at all, nor spending any time contemplating this type of macabre hypothetical subject.

Well, pain IS a part of life, but death is the end of life, and I prefer to leave it there.

How can it be the end? It is all around us. It's no more the end than birth is the beginning. Everything ends. Everything begins. There is no being, only becoming.

    I'd save myself every time
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

Yeah, actually, I would, too. I'd let 3-4 billion people die as long as it was no one I knew. Maybe.
