    The entertainment of the internet is addicting and would be interesting to get away from.

    But I would sorely miss the practical side.

    Yeah, as long as I had a library. Internet is great and all, you get updated information, but if I didn't have it all I would need is SOME information.

    Can't read the newspapers, they are all propaganda...most of the internet is propoganda but at least it isn't regulated.

    ...Yet.

    This is kind of interesting. I'm thinking of taking a short hiatus from the internet and becoming a bonafide hermit.

    I'm sure I could but it would be tough. All of that information at your fingertips is a wonderful thing. My productivity would be severely crippled. Of course not wasting time in chat rooms like this would be beneficial but I fear I am a tad addicted.
