hahahaha. For some reason, it never occurred to me that people would pronounce it wix-ewww, even though everyone would shorten it to "wix", I think I gave the forum too much credit assuming they would know that "x" is prounced as "sh" like certain words in Mandarin.

Thought of it out of whim in highschool. Its a username never really taken on other websites, so I've loyally stuck by it.

I didn't want to use my normal web name because I don't want people finding out that I also post here (well, they could figure it out if they were a regular here too, but that's unlikely), and I didn't want to think of another creative username, so I just took my type and made the last letter of the type be the first letter of a decent word.

It's just a reference to the state of each of us. If you're lucky every once and a while someone will stop by and get a glimpse of you from the town line but ultimately we're all living in a place populated by just one. I can send you a postcard but you can never visit.

I have a fixation and need to believe in transformation & change mainly for myself.

I've had self-loathing issues from a very early age (not entirely unjustified) and am banking on the flimsiness of self cobbled together by our most familiar neurological pathways combined with epiphanic realisation to produce growth.

But this is at war with the despairing neuroticism which I indulge in, making me think in static forms of not being able to progress and getting stuck in circular, unhelpful thinking patterns.

This is almost a form of nature/nurture debate manifested in my personal bullshit. So cells can change and form anew, but the mold defines their purpose.

I want to change the mold and so free the cells.

There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

For the new one, I don't actually have a clear reason. I wanted to change it, this one popped into my head first, and it stuck in there for a few weeks, so I used it.

Now people are repping me 80s music references, the universal sign of a good decision.
