By the way Katsuni, how much are you ready to pay if you do not want people here to learn your true connexion with that famous French pornstar?

I didn't really want something that's easily associated with something else (i.e. if there's no 'cover', I cannot be judged by it, and my words therefore have to be what I'm judged for), but I wasn't really in the mood to think of something myself, so I went to a fantasy name generator. Found something that seemed both interesting and relatively uncommon.

    It's a song title:

It also means a few different things to me. It's kind of a play on the phrase "apples & oranges" which illustrates how two things are too different to even be compared, and it is similar to the expression "square peg in a round hole" to describe someone that does not fit in. "Appled" is a verb. So an orange that has been or is being "appled" is being forced into a form that goes against its nature.
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

Mine too. All other usernames I've had in the past I eventually grow out of... I figure I can't grow out of my actual name. Besides, I really like it. I think my mom did a good job.

I like going fast in various vehicles - including when not earthbound - and it points to certain things I participate in mentally and physically.

Oh, and the first letter corresponds to something.

Like Lacey said, I feel like if I had used something frivolous or too obscure for even my own mind then I would soon outgrow it. I'm not sure what it is exactly about neptunesnet that I like so much, but it's almost as simple as I like the way it sounds. And I think the word arrangement works well, too, visually.

I got it from M. Ward.

It was sort of a spur of the moment choice, but if I try to apply it, I like to be left alone.. I am like fog. I want to participate.. I want to go everywhere.. but I don't want to be a big part of things.
