I used to go by my middle name online, but someone started calling me poki and it was shorter and easier.

    No reason.

I signed up, and it came to me.

    It sounded, well, fitting.

For no apparent reason, I like to name my accounts after stars. In this case, I chose Nunki, a name that sounds all too Japanese. I like Japanese culture, of course, but I don't want people to think I'm some kind of Japanophile. I'm not, and if I could go back and choose another name, I would choose Antares. Even now, I could maybe change my name, but I won't. It would cause too much confusion, especially since no one from INTPc would know who I am.

An INFP friend of mine came up with it. We don't actually talk any longer, but the name just kind of stuck..

It's something I often feel when I'm deciding whether or not to commit to something. I was feeling it quite strongly while I contemplated joining this forum.

Why doesn't my name say something unique about me? Perhaps because I didn't know what kind of investment I was gonna have in this website or perhaps it was because I was overly extroverted and lacked proper sense and value in myself to come up with something distinctly unique about me.
