I don't like the word fat either, I use "overweight"

On the BMI chart a person of my height(6'0") could weigh 136lbs and be considered average weight, or 184lbs and be considered above average weight.

Forgive me, but I know someone who is 145lbs at 6' and there is nothing normal about his weight.

BMI is a pitifully inadequate system for measuring a person's body fat.

Develop an external definition. You can call it 'Poppy's definition', and somewhere within that definition you must define 'fat'. Then, compare yourself with your definition and see if you are fat.
Well, I think each body has a different equilibrium, and so it is clear most of the time when someone's body is drastically noticeably outside of that individual range.

My own body is not at it's equilibrium, so by my own standards I would have to say that I am fat. However fat is usually traded off with "morbidly obese" which I am nowhere near approaching.

The only way to verify this is for everyone to post nudes. You first.

It is OK to completely ignore Nizy's posts when he posts in a thread which I have already posted in. The converse of this, of course, is not true.

I voted "not fat" but I'm chunky! I'm like some yummy chunky peanut butter!

    The words I use are

Thin (I hated when people called me "skinny" when I was thin)
    Average
    Chunky
    Overweight
