Babies get fat because their parents feed them. Adults get fat because they feed themselves. Insignificant? So, eating habits have no effect whatsoever? What else could be there...strength of will...utterly useless?

Well if you feed a baby too much, they will develop more fat cells. As a result, he will have harder time w/ weight throughout life.

Harder time, maybe yes, but still, other factors play into it as well.

There should be several threads to really get to the bottom of this:

Types most likely to get fat when they don't do anything?
Types most likely to get fat when they try to do everything?
Types most likely to get fat when they blame genetics?
    ...

I think ENXJ types will tend to stay the healthiest because of tert. Se ( they tend to exercise when they are stressed and/or are somewhat vain) but I don't know about the fattest and thinnest...uh INFP (I know several emotional eaters).

This thread confirms my fear to be true, that a lot of the people who frequent this site are blind sheep cultists.

It also confirms your bias against sheep cultists. You naughty naughty little bigot!, how dare you insult such a group of mbti enlightened invidual's.

Page 8., post no. 76. is my thoughts on this thread now.

However I can describe my thought process as to me making this thread...
Back then I was reading about socionics in which a website I was reading described the physical appearance of each type. I was quite interested. What then came to me was that the functions could have an effect on eating habits.

Se - Physically sensing the taste of the food.
Ne - Wondering about the different tastes of food by experimenting. Trying new foods.
Si - Eating foods one already knows.
Ni - Wondering ways to improve the food.
Te - Strict on how much and what food is eaten.
Ti - Understanding the nutritional value of the foods eaten.
Fe - Cares how certain food might affect how people may see them.
Fi - Eats according to how one feels at that moment.

Or along the same agenda. So I thought maybe those who are fat may have similar eating habits according to their dominant functions. That was what lead me to make this thread.
Of course now I realise the extra different factors I have counted out then that would lead me to believe that making this thread was not such a good idea.

Actually, there are no "bad" threads, not really. If people are given the opportunity to formulate and express their opinion, gain knowledge and share their insights on a topic, no matter how trivial it might seem, then I say it's all for a good cause. It keeps the brain working.

This thread proves that there is no link between intelligence and type, at least not for INTJs...
