    Oh, you guys.

I would follow the voice, thinking something along the lines of: "My moment has finally come!"

    And then I'd probably die.

Apply that to this topic. Pretend.

If a clearly supernatural voice were calling me in the middle of the night, I would probably wait for it called me a few more times, then decide to move towards it. I mean, hiding under the covers isn't going to help. It can find me there.

Thank you lol It's interesting to see how difficult doing that actually was for some posters.

    Default Great question

I'd be scared to death! I think my first reaction would be to hide under the covers (emotional) but after the initial sheer panic, I'd rationalize that it's not a human voice and that there's no slasher just outside my window. I'd then want to go explore where the voice was coming from but I'd still be quite scared doing so. I mean, it could be a delightful fairy inviting me to harmlessly explore an enchanting forest with her, or it could also be the devil calling me over to possess my spirit and torture me forever.

    I would....

    1) Make sure my bills were paid
    2) Leave a cryptic note about what was happening so one of my friends could come along if it turned into a quest
    3) Pack snacks
    4) Follow the voice!

That's exactly what I did. A hallucination would be my first thought, no matter how real or supernatural the voice sounds. But as I said, I'd investigate if it persisted, but by then I'd be also considering that there might be someone in the house, or that I have gone mad for good.

I'd hide. Scary noises scare me! Whenever I'm alone at night and think I hear something I'm like, ohnoes, maybe if I hide it'll go away! I'm really quite skittish.

I've seen it to amazing extents. My mom is completely incapable of working within hypothetical scenarios. It boggles the mind sometimes.
