It says my Ne is higher than my Ti, but that's not weighted to my Letter Scores.

    It says:

    Ne>Ti>Ni>Te=Fi>Si>Se>Fe

I see so many discrepancies in myself that I'm more prone to think I have several functional hierarchies. A few of them (and these are fairly sketchy) include:

    Serious: Ni-Ti-Fi-Te.
    Working: Fi-Si-Te-Ne-Ni
    Playful, excited: Ne-Fi-Ti-Fe.
    Engaged in friendly conversation: Ni-Fe-Ne-Fi-Ti.
    Stressed, confused: Ne-Se-Te
    Angry: Te-Fi-Fe
    Uncertain: Ne-Ti-Se-Ni
    Amorous: Fe-Ne-Fi-Ni-Se
    Generalized: (Check my sig)

Excellent! Thanks for pointing out that mood and time are variables that affect the strengths of the various functions. You even averaged them into a generalized hierarchy. Well done . If I wasn't a flaky INTP who can't seem to follow through with my initial ideas on systems, I may do the same..

Allow me to muse for a second: It appears that the 16 MBTI types are too general to find anything but a brief outline of some subtle tendencies among individuals in a single type (good for general patterns among people, but bad for personal introspection). Even analyzing the spectrum of the dichotomous functions (T/F, J/P) to produce trait strength percentages will only get you so far, and there's guesswork involved. While this functional hierarchy "chart" for yourself seems to allow a more personal look into your perceptual workings, everyday mood changes and environmental challenges will change the strengths of these cognitive functions, and thus alter the hierarchy's sequence around as time progresses. Taking a generalized view of your changeable nature through continuous sampling/testing (as Nunki has done above) seems to produce a more refined reflection of your personality's functioning. Really, you could even do enough research to construct your own personality matrix off of the cognitive processes and their dynamics; the interplay between these simultaneously individual yet connected (see: Holon (philosophy) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) functions is an endless study of relationship dynamics. This is really quite fascinating stuff, no?

I also have observed what would appear to be multiple hierarchies:

Unstressed Matthew: Ti-Ne-Fi (top functions for Ps)
Stressed Matthew: Te-Ni-Si (top functions for Js)
    Online Matthew: Ti-Ne-Fi-Ni-Te
    Generally unused functions: Fe, Se

My function order, according to the test:

    Fi > Ne > Ti = Ni > Te > Si > Se > Fe
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

    Mine came out as:
    Ne > Ti > Fi > Ni > Fe > Te = Si > Se
*shrug* I'm pretty sure that Ni should be lower on that list.

It said that my type is most likely INTP, and that I should look at ENTP or INFP as alternatives.

    introverted Intuiting (Ni) ****************************** (30.2)

    extraverted Thinking (Te) ****************** (18.2)

    introverted Thinking (Ti) ******************************************* (43.7)

    extraverted Feeling (Fe) ************************* (25.4)
    average use
    introverted Feeling (Fi) **************************************** (40.3)
    excellent use
The probability that I was procrastinating when I was typing this post:

    P(have big assignment due) = 0.6
    P(posting on TypoC) = 0.2
P(having big assignment due | posting on TypoC) = 0.7

P(posting on TypoC | having big assignment due) = .......

    Eh, I'll finish it later.

I got Si > Fi = Se > Ne > Fe > Te > Ti > Ni. But of course, all the values were close together. I have such a hard time answering the questions correctly. :/
