I'm too old for Halloween. And besides, my neighborhood is too dangerous for it, anyway.
i never went trick-or-treating or dressed up for halloween when i was a kid. our neighborhood was way too dangerous, and on halloween night it got even worse. halloween was a total non-holiday when i was a kid, we did absolutely nothing out of the ordinary for it. when i was a teenager i went out at night and did hooligan stuff, but i never actually celebrated the holiday until i was in my late 20's.
maybe that is why i like it so much now.
i am throwing an epic halloween party this year!!! it will dwarf all my other parties - and i am no party slouch.
i am flying in my friends from Philly, and we are going to have an island off the coast of Belize all to ourselves! we are having a huge bonfire party on the island.
but in the past i went as my best friend. i cut my hair just like his and shaved my beard down to a mustache just like his, wore clothing just like his, his same plaid shirt and everything. i have known him 30 years, so i can really pull off his mannerisms and impersonate him well. if you have a friend you know very well, i would recomend trying this. it's pretty fun and hilarious, if you can pull it off.

What's my Halloween Costume? Eh, my avatar must be eloquent, isn't it?
