If you don't have "off the rack" dimensions, buy clothes that a re a bit too big and take them to a tailor.

Getting nice clothes that don't fit is stupid. If you know a good tailor it can make all the difference in the world. Simply taking in a men's business shirt and fitting the sleeves will make a man's waist look 10 pounds slimmer, his arms bigger, and his shoulders more broad.

Even me, a 6'1" 235 pound bodybuilder looks like a fat slob in an off the rack business shirt. Once I take it to my tailor then I look like a lean mean corporate killing machine.

I'm 6'2'' about and about 215. I look stupid in business shirts that aren't tailored. You can take it too far though. You don't want it too tight.

now now boys, no dog fights on the thread.....

Yes women are not good at altering cloths, usually because they buy more cheaper outfits so they can be seasonal - hence cost of adjustment to women is actually proportionately higher.... unless it's everyday business wear... women's body also changes size a lot more....

    LOL!

I am biased...I won't mention how, because that would start a bunch of flaming from you female types.

    Hm.
    5'6"
    110 lbs.
32" chest (that doesn't even qualify as a chest )

I have no idea have to measure my shoulders.
    ..I tried. It was awkward.

I guess I'm a ruler, but my thighs... THESE THIGHS!
Most jeans in department stores are straight down and are. tailored. for. twelve. year. olds.
I hate them because they snug my hips and thighs but are extremely loose (like uncomfortably loose) in my waist area. Even some of the jeans I own do this but to a less annoying degree mind you. As far as I know, the GAP and Banana Republic are the only pants that fit me well. H&M occasionally.

Are you sure they didn't actually say "the sack"?
