    People should just do what they want to do for the sake of doing it. Not talk about it or try to 'look cool' before even doing anything concrete.

    Because that's the sort of freedoms our modern society allows us to enjoy, and dirtying life experiences with some cheap ideologies or daredevil bullshit is just an insult to all the people who don't have that simple and beautiful thing that Choice is.

    Yeah I've done the no AC thing in the summer because it's a want not a need. I've lived with minimal personal possessions. I've done these things too.

    I don't know about sleeping in the street, though. Never wanted to do that voluntarily. Staying a couple nights in a women's shelter in Vegas was hard enough, thanks. I feel for people who end up on the streets involuntarily, especially in large cities. Ugh.

    So...uh...good luck with that. Henry Miller did it. But he didn't do it just to be doing it, he did it because he wanted to move to Paris and he had very little money.
