Gewitter, you already have a pretty cool alias that you can use for a callsign in this new army.
It means something like thunderstorm, right? My German is kind of rusty.

Yes, Ich bin der Gewitterdrache, the Tempest Dragon.
Tempest is a fancy name for 'Thunderstorm'.

    Great!

Now... There has to be an airforce.
The bulk of our equipment should be possible to transport by plane or choppers.
    "What aircraft?" you say.

    Transports

    C-130J Super Hercules
Great at transporting stuff. You can actually fit a bloody tank in there and haul it where you want it.

    V-22 Osprey
Some weird crossover between a plane and a chopper.
Speed, maneuverability. Good for transporting troops/paradrops.
I'd love some more armaments on it, though. It's kind of vulnerable.

    CH-47 Chinook
This one is as self-explanatory as potatoes in a kitchen.
The chinook lifts things. Troops, humvees, howitzers... Doesn't matter.
    The chinook does it.

OPTIONAL(in the case of extreme wealth, our own country etc):

    Offensive aircraft

    AH-64 Apache
Can be used until something better comes along.

    F-22 Raptor
Bombs, you say? Raptor has it.
Guns, you say? Raptor has it.
    Maneuverability? Oh yes.
    Stealth? YES.
Very high-tech stuff. Probably the best fighter-bomber in the world.

Also considering the F-35 Lightning for CAS (Close Air Support).
But I can do with a few ridiculously upgraded A-10 Warthogs.

Whoa, Jesus, don't you forget your STEALTH BOMBERS!!!

Keep in mind that I'm not very good in the actual field, I'd prefer to go more into the Research and Technology Department, for advances in tech. Also in finding better ways to do things that are already done.

Dude, the B-2 bomber wouldn't see much use
I'm not planning on dropping nukes on anyone, and it's useless for air-superiority purposes.
Besides, the F-22 is a stealth aircraft, and newer.
It can drop a nice payload with pinpoint accuracy as well as take on any enemy fighters.
If you didn't know that, you're probably better in the field *poke*

It would be kind of like using the Blackbird as a spyplane when there are satellites.

    Put up new picture...

I'm afraid I'm not too knowledgeable about Aircraft compared to Land Vehicles. Sorry.

So, what about land vehicles, then?
I'm sorry, I can be harsh sometimes.

Another thing... I'm thinking about using some variation of this as the company logo or national flag:

    Good Flag idea!

Land vehicles? For starters, HIMARS are a must. You'll need 3 people each, but they are very high-powered and can move 85 KM/H, a very impressive speed for artilley. For straightforward MBTs we should finish the development of the XM1202 MCS

Some common tactics will include use of ATGMs
