    Default Contentment

I was wondering, what makes the different types feel content at any given point in life. What is it, for you?

Contentment for me comes when I have fulfilling work to do and the people I care about are doing well (and I feel close to them). What about you?

I don't know but I think the near future will help me have a clearer picture. It kind of feels it might be a challenge for me, though. I think in the short term it's about being well liked by everyone around me, and feeling I'm having an impact on them...and on the longer term feeling I've experienced all the things I want to experience as I keep fulfilling my short-term urges. As a Ne-dominant that seems inherently impossible, kind of, right?

For me, being content means being true to myself. Not trying to fulfill somebody elses expectations but my own. Which in turn means that I can never be fully content because there's always going to be something in the horizon that I want to reach. But I don't consider this as something negative because I know I'll be able to value the progress even if I don't reach the exact destination as intended.

Contention is a mythical condition in my book, or, at least, it has been for quite a while.

To reach the goals i know i am capable of reaching and also believing in myself.

I am currently content with having 2 beautiful/amazing/inspiring children.
