    you missed the point. which is beyond sad because my first post is exactly the point no more and no less. I wanted to know how, yet except for one or two people gave crap advice. but then again I should remember where I am and remember not to ask for advice, yet I keep asking, I might be a masochist.

    Huh, well actually it looks more like three things happened.

    -You asked for advice on how to become pretentious.
    -Some advice was given.
    -You said you would refuse to act on any of the advice because it was "eww" and there's nothing more that you hate than not being yourself .

    So I don't know what the purpose of this thread was other than for you to take all of the examples of pretentiousness given and talk about how you could never be that way. Even though your original intent was, as you say, to find out how to become more pretentious.
