I guessed that maybe she found out that her sister was seeing the guy or something and she killed her in a jealous rage, but by accident of course.
Between that cigarillo and sticking my finger down my throat to see if I could DT, I feel like puking RN.

Question; How does one possibly decide whether the woman didn't know the man she 'supposedly' fell in love with to begin with, or not?

    (To the OP.)

I read this before, and I thought of it so easy to solve and so obvious, it was a joke. I thought the joke was on the person (everyone?) reading it and thinking they were now a psycho.

I don't even think that much is true, I just think it's a bad riddle.

    Answer:

She was hoping the guy would appear at a family funeral again.
If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a
test by a famous American Psychologist used to determine if one has the
same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the
test and answered the question correctly.
Wait, didn't everyone immediately think that answer?

I heard this joke before, but I did not come up with the right answer.

you ruined it too soon because I saw the answer scrolling down. But to be honest, what ran through my head was, many things including her wanting to meet the guy, but I was also thinking, anything could of happened to make her want to kill her sister during that time.

The solution never even crossed my mind. There are much more probable explanations.
