I got it wrong. I was trying to make it into some metaphor, such as the woman was real sister (nun) and the "mother" was her mother superior, and the man was a priest or Jesus or something, and the sister she killed was a real sister... but that went nowhere then I gave up.

See the logoical explanation is that the guy was her sister, who secretly got a sex change. The woman from the beggining is rather conservative in her veiws on gender and sexuality, in the raving lunatic sense. We're talking explosive anal retention. She's also sporting a hefty sense of psychopathic narcissism.

She's not seen her sister in a few years, so naturally there's a sense of inexplicable connection, and of physical similarity to her - feeds into the narcissism and intrigue as to why this new and most alluringman knows her, but is being rather mysterious. She's blind to the truth, doesn't want to connect the two deep down.

The sister wishes to reconnect to her family and roots, yet also knows it's never going to work what with the large dose of crazy. Like if you travel back in time to meet a friend who dies in the future.

The sister can't take the lies, and decides to meet one evening, to set things straight. The slightly awkward, yet totally earnest approach is misinterpreted. The woman sees this as a chance to bed such an attractive, intriguing man.

It leads to a clueless/horror movie style finish.

    +1

It seemed like the easiest puzzle ever to me and, thinking it to be a trick question, I tried to come up with a few other possible answers but I kept coming back to the obvious.

So I'm a psychopath now? Heh.

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a
test by a famous American Psychologist used to determine if one has the
same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the
test and answered the question correctly.
No. I just read a lot of mystery novels.

The only other possible answer, as I see it, is that the guy went home with her sister/was her sister's boyfriend, and she was so unstable from her mother's death that she killed her sister over the dream guy.

That's pretty psychopathic too. But most murders occur over things like sex and money.
