    Default Help! My memory broke

I've been dreading this for years -- it's finally come time for me to apply to colleges and my memory is completely broken.

Now, I've always known that this was going to be a problem. When they ask me "Recall a challenge" or blah blah blah I can't remember anything.

Will I be penalized for making stuff up?

Nope, as long as it's believable. If you can get someone else to vouch for it in case they ask, that's even better.

Get a new stick of RAM if the other kind breaks, though.

You're memory is just a little stubborn. It tends to do that with age. You need to oil up the slots.

Usage of memory tricks can battle this easily. Plenty of good books and methods on how to do this. But ultimatly, getting interested is the best method. One can attain interest in things even if only the ultimate result is desired.

Use the force... ehh.. will to succeed.

I only applied to colleges that didn't require that I write such an essay!

    Good luck .

You're not sure how old you are? Geeeeee, maybe you need to have a docter check up on you. That's usually a big sign something is very wrong with your memory.

No, she's right. I know her birthday, and I can vouch for her. She's definitely 17.

    Happy birthday, by the way!

Do you think I could get a doctor's waiver on this question, then?

I was just making a joke. There's no need to take me so seriously.

Either way, I don't see why I am to blame for not knowing a posters age, so I just made a sarcastic remark on her rhetorical question. :P
