Default Do all infp's feel like Rocky during the montage scenes on the inside?

The topic is semi-explicit. what I realllly mean is, I can relate to Rocky in the montage scenes, with the one-armed push ups and the running up Aztec pyramids and such. I don't actually do anything physical except a little running and some (very) light weightlifting, but on the inside I'm bursting with energy and motivation and other things that I don't have on the outside. Fluff.

Sometimes when I hear INFP's talk, I just picture Bruce Banner going green. Raaah!

On a more serious note. I usually have a superiority complex as well. I'm not Rocky but Superman on the inside.

There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

Frankly I think the inner life is distinct from the outer life. Or you might say the inner life is dissociated from the outer life.

You can see this dissociation in a physical sense when you are asleep. For when you are asleep your muscles are disconnected or dissociated from your brain. So your brain can do its thing while you are asleep without hurting you.

And so the dissociation of our psyche into the inner life and the outer life is similar.

And although this dissociation does keep us safe, it can also make it difficult to some of us to cross the boundary between the inner and the outer.

So in extreme cases, introverts are stuck on one side of the boundary and extroverts get stuck on the other.

And as I keep telling you and myself the solution is l'alternance.

I keep promising myself I will practise l'alternance so I won't be so stuck on one side of the dissociation.

I keep promising myself I will practise l'alternance so that I will learn to move gracefully from the inner to the outer and back again.

Hey, I'll start tomorrow morning - but I say that every night.

How, oh how can I start my practice?
