    I see.

Anyways, I tend to disconsider the generations past 151 pokemons.

I consider them all, except the 5th gen is horrible, so I don't count that one.

The best generation though, in my opinion, was the 2nd gen and the Johto region.

Hoenn and Sinnoh were okay too, but they just weren't quite the same as the first 2.

    Yes, I have exquisite taste.

Has anyone played the newest game Black/White 2? Loved playing that one, but hated the first B/W games. The changes they made really improved the experience.

    Aesthetics-wise, I'm partial to Gengar. ^^
    Tentative typing: ISFJ 6w5 or 9w1 (Sp/S[?]).

I think this is because it felt more like an add-on to 1st gen. They really merged the two generations of Pokemon very well, especially considering the fact that you could travel between Johto and Kanto. Also the 2nd generation of Pokemon was originally meant to be included in 1st gen (if you look up the list of Pokemon by Index Number on Bulbapedia, all of the Missingno Pokemon are in place of 2nd gen Pokemon) so Nintendo actually meant for them to be intertwined. I think that's why Hoenn and Sinnoh felt only okay-ish. They were more in-your-face about the new generations, but they still tried to include the classics. And that's also why 5th gen sucks ass. They just outright got rid of all the former Pokemon and tried to start a modern day Red and Blue for the next generation of Pokemon-players. BW2 is much better if you're willing to give it a shot. They included a lot of past Pokemon!

This is all just my opinion, though. But I do agree with how you rank the best games generation-wise.

I'm curious, what are your, the people in this thread, favorites when it comes to the movies?

My favorite will always be Pokemon 2000.

Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice or lightning, lest these titans wreak destruction upon the world in which they clash.
Though the water's great guardian shall arise to quell the fighting, alone its song will fail, and thus the earth shall turn to ash.
O Chosen One, into thine hands bring together all three.
Their treasures combined tame the Beast of the Sea.

And Wailord always cracks me up for some reason.

It is a good thing I usually don't use Wailords, they crowd the screen too much.

@Rail Tracer Pokemon the First Movie! I remember crying like a baby when Ash was frozen and when the Pokemon started crying. I have the entire soundtrack on my iPod. Also my two favorite Pokemon got screentime and they rarely ever do, so seeing them in a movie makes it even better!

And I love your Ruby avatar btw.

    @Chanaynay and @sprinkles

That reminds me, I still have my Pokemon cards, and well... I still have one of the first versions of Meganium

Still have my cards from the 1st-3rd movie too.

Yeah, it has been inside a binder on the bookcase since forever.

I missed out on the pokemon cards craze.

Collecting card games were never popular in my area until recently. There'd be nobody to enjoy it with. Pokemon cards really aren't a thing here unless you're 12...
