i do our regular laundry about every two weeks. but i have to do a small load of work clothes almost every night, because i get very dirty at work.
i do all the laundry for my girlfriend and i. we aren't picky, we throw everything in together, except for red clothing seperate.

child's play! when i walked from Mexico to Canada (without hitchhiking) i threw away my pants (and bought new ones) when they got too encrusted with mud to flex anymore.
i also only took one shower the whole trip (4 months), but that is probably too disturbing to even think about.

but usually i wear jeans for about 3 days.

Yeah, I usually wear my jeans for 2 or 3 days.

As for the laundry... for a while I just looked at the labels because it'll tell you, but finally I was like, wow, this takes forever. So from then on, I separate lights and darks and use warm water for everything. Because my dad told me that warm water seems more effective with dirt and stains.

If my clothing smells good and isn't too wrinkly, then it's good to go.

Buy new clothes or give it to dry cleaners.

If you're strapped for cash, raid gardens around your neighbourhood for flowers, make a home-made potpourri and stuff 'em down your drawers while they're in the drawers overnight. Voila! Fresh as a daisy the next day.

Your laundry detergent container SHOULD tell you how much to pour in the cap to measure. Just put the clothes in, put it on warm cold, and put it in for a decent amount of time. It's pretty easy.
Why have you chosen warm-cold? Explain yourself!

Brendan! Are you serious? Have you really never done laundry before?

I don't ever want to see you complain about your mother again!

I've also heard that in Europe the washing machines and dryers are A LOT smaller than in the U.S. I wonder if it's true.
