well, hang on a minute. what if it's only some prominent status quo that dictates that we wake and sleep in 24 hr cycles. by practiced nature, this is prolly the best of all methods. but, perhaps, there were tribes whom waked and slep in cycles more than or less than 24 hours and we never knew and will never know it happened because it got lost in history. and they found it better to roll over into the next day. heck, you could be normal and the rest are doing it wrong. you just believe it's not right through established standard. i wouldn't worry to much about it

everyone uses every function about evenly. take NE for example. if there are those who don't use it much, then why are there such massive amounts of people constantly flowing through Wallmart with 20 items or less?
No caffeine after about 4pm. Exercise but not within a couple hours of bed. Hydrate. Smaller dinner and not after 6pm or so if you can help it. Make a habit of not doing non sleep/sex related activities in bed. Train your mind to consider going to bed as part of the habit of drifting off to sleep. It is a bed, not a library or a phone booth.
