    Default Compared to others

Anyone ever compared you to someone else?
What type was that someone else?

Ever since I learned about types, I found it interesting when I was compared to people, because normally type-wise they are totally different. And when you're compared to that someone, what is it that is so similar?

Do you seem to act like that type? Does that person act like you? Or think like you, or anything? Is it something that's not type related?

I'm quite often compared to my ENTP friend. "You are the female version of (person.)" And then my mind always goes off on this big tangent about how technically, function-wise, we're polar opposites. What's making people compare me, complete Ne-TARD to a complete Ne MONSTER!?

Have you had similar comparisons happen?

    lol

Maybe you share other common non-MBTI traits. Like friendliness. Or an interest in something particular.

Yeah, I know some ESFP's and ENTP's and they are definitely nothing alike. At all.

Maybe they're just looking at one aspect of your personalities - like... you're both outgoing and extroverted for example.

Mostly I've been compared to people, while showing how much better the other person is at something than me. I'm not sure what type those other people are.

I have never been compared to anyone else, thank gosh.

I only remember being compared to someone once in my life. I was compared to my father, and ISTJ no less. Since I ooze "strong silent type" fragrances apparently Suffice it to see, the family members that did the comparison don't really know me all too well.

people confuse/compare me with another female infp friend. it's because we really are similar in a lot of our social habits, i guess.

I've been compared to one of my friends (female ISTP). We give off pretty similar vibes until you put us in a rave. It then becomes pretty obvious which one of us is an SP.
