How is the "con artist" or "player" not subtle?

Grin..touch...guess your impatience can be curbed when you really really want something then. Personally though, I enjoy the no nonsense approach and bluntness an STP tends to wield.

Finally, an ESTP who's not ashamed of being compared to a con artist.

Seriously, it's not such a bad thing to be. I'd consider it a fairly minor crime, especially if the person had money to spare.

What's even funnier is this: Suppose an ESTP is a con man, and an INFJ is a psychologist.

A con man generally tries to mess with your mind to get you to see things less clearly, in a way that benefits them.

A psychologist generally tries to mess with your mind to get you to see things more clearly, in a way that benefits you.

But they're both using the same skill... and ironically, sometimes having a con man trick you often enough will eventually teach you more than having a psychologist constantly coach you on your thinking.

So in some cases, the psychologist only ends up taking your money and giving you nothing, while the con man takes your money and teaches you a lesson they didn't intend for you to learn. This is essentially how the shadow works.

And the "Turn The Tables" award goes to stellar renegade yet once again!

But seriously, we can switch between either at will. That's the strength of both being able to be subtle and knowing our prey.

Yep. Or sometimes a person can be both a psychologist and a con artist, like Freud.

*smiles softly and lets Stellar gloat*

When you're done gloating, Stellar, you can think about how to prove that it wasn't a fluke...

Just watch me. I'll continue to do the same.

Did you see my blog post? Isn't the most amazing example but it's there.
