I was on Vent once. Didn't say/write a word, I was too busy enjoying Ivy's DJ session. I'm not much of a talker anyway so you could say that I'm regularly absent from Vent in the future

I went to Vent twice. Didn't say anything either. ^
But had some fun time listening to some NT's arguing + had fun chatting with few people

So, I might be there in the future. Even talking. Who knows?

I was on for a little while last night. It is somewhat confusing. Many people are typing, a few using their mics, which, is a painif you are trying to follow the two together...if you have ADHD like me anyway! Maybe 8 ritalin would allow me to keep up with it.

It seems like it would be easier split into 2 rooms: (1) typers, and (2) chatters. It was my first time on. I basically had to get my bearings, but it seems like it could be fun.

    Good stuff!
The conversations does tend to go at blitz speed when there are more than 5+ people within the channel that aren't wallflowers. There's always PM and other rooms are good for chatting with the mics.

That's good to know. Maybe I'll try to corral the crazies into one room so we can all shoot our mouths off. Thanks for the tip!

My problem is I can't just talk. I need to be asked a question, or otherwise directly addressed.

I have no idea why that is.

It's a sign of a great mind, no worries.

    LOL!

You'd be a great life coach.

But really, even if I am addressed, it's far faster for me to type my response simply because I would rarely give a long, verbose answer in the first place. Not to mention, it saves people from falling asleep due to the oppressive monotony of my voice, that I share with phone conversations. I'm so bad on the phone, and vent feels like the phone.

It's not that I'm nervous/uneasy. I just suck at it.
