I like both, because they both convey different aspects of myself. I'm probably more comfortable with writing, though.

Writing for sure. I have problems expressing myself verbally, which has made it difficult when girlfriends ask me "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???"

When I speak, it comes out a lot more jumbled than when I write. I definitely sound more intelligent in writing. If I were to speak exactly as I write, I imagine I might sound kind of uptight though. The written word can get away with being more formal, which I like.

I notice that Es in this thread are more comfortable with speaking and Is with writing. No surprise there....
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)
