- Are you angry? - What's wrong?
- Are you always this quiet? - Smile! (Okay. Not a question but I'm curious as to what types keep suggesting this questionable deed! ).
I get the bolded sometimes, especially "What's wrong?". I usually get asked that when deep in thought about something totally inconsequential, so I am usually surprised that I apparently look upset. I just tell them, "nothing's wrong, I'm ok." Sometimes they won't believe me which I really hate.
I really, really hate the "smile" thing. I'll make the facial expressions I want, thank you very much.
Yes, someone please tell the people around me that just because I'm not actively engaged with you does not mean there's something wrong with me. A lot of people are just annoying or boring so I keep quiet. Most of the time, I had a response in my head to something going around me, and then I thought of possible scenarios in response to my response, and decided it wasn't worth it. That's the ISTJ deliberation. We think heavily before speaking.
I get asked on a regular basis:
Why are you so serious?
Are you tired?
Are you angry?
Don't worry so much!
Or I just get the stares that come off as, "That guy is acting like he's too good for us."
