So you like the old board game Clue, do you?
I prefer to do my bludgeoning in the conservatory. It has better lighting.

I once misheard the main lyrics of 'Watching the Detectives' as 'watch a leper tap dance.' Time to cover my shame.

I don't know. I think I would enjoy watching a leper tap dance.

I misheard my daughter refer to "Peter Pan's Flight" during our trip to Disney World last week, and thought she said "Pee Your Pants Flight." So that's what we called all the scary rides for the rest of our trip.

Ha ha, isn't it great how misheard phrases can turn into an inside joke?

I read "Yielding/Obstinate Dichotomy" as "Yelling Obstinate Dictionary". Which sounds like a book you would find in the Hogwarts library.

To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.

"Do you like getting lots" (of sex, I presume) instead of "Do you like getting lost?"

    misread:

    Vasilisa: I watched Boyhood, 93JC
    93JC: did you like it?
    Adam: Good movie.
Vasilisa: I did, it was poignant
    93JC: mmhmm

    93JC: did you like it?
    Adam: Good movie.
Vasilisa: I did, I was pregnant

misread linen breeze as linear breeze

    You hem me in -- behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
