What sets him apart is the fact that he has all that money but doesn't just lounge around in St. Tropez. And he has cool ass gadgets.

Oh I agree, the Bourne series I think is phenomenal and awesome, however it doesn't make them superheroes [in my eyes, at least. I always associate "superhero" with super powers.]

Chuck Norris .. Is he dead yet? .. Only kidding.

Sorry but Wolverine has to win hands down for best ever superhero.
1 - look at that smouldering body
    2 - He is a nice guy
    3 - Protector
4 - I really should of paid more attention to the analogue during the films.

Batman goes out and bosses people like Green Lantern and the Flash around.

If you don't see how this is a big deal, you don't know about the motherfucking flash.

Batman would lose every fight versus a real superhero.

Fix'd that for you. He should lose every fight against a real superhero, yet he can and has gone rounds with almost all of them.

At the moment, I voted Spiderman simply because of childhood nostalgia.

Hehe, seeing Danny DeVito's The Penguin in Batman Returns seriously freaked me out at a young and impressionable age.

And in all of those cases, they're unrealistic scenarios simply because he'd lose as soon as whomever he was fighting remembered they had superpowers.

I saw covers for the Batman v. Superman one with his kryptonite suit or whatever, and here I am thinking why doesn't Superman just fly far away, shoot him with his heat vision or throw a superpowered boulder through his head.
