    Doing a legal name change is really easy and doesn't cost much. You can call yourself whatever you want. There are forms on the internet for each state. You don't need a lawyer.

    I always thought of it as some huge sacrificial and strenuous process. I'm surprised people don't change their names more often, but on the other hand, I probably would never seriously change my name.
