you see, that is where you are mistaken (or where i am dillusional). they start out equal but after wearing them, they take on the shape of your feet. i think i am just going to wear different color socks to sort this mess out. red for right, lila for left.

I have never noticed this. If you went for years not knowing you weren't necessarily matching R/L pairs, can it really be a difference you can feel?

I thought I was doing well to pick two that look basically like each other!

I had a sock quirk, but now I just sacrifice them to the dryer god.

contrary to all common sense, i will continue to defend my habit of making a real and noticable improvement to my life.

Heh, I eat sandwiches from the outside to the inside, saving the best for last.

I tie my shoes by making "bunny ears" and tying those together b/c I never learned the "right" way.

Oooh, the bunny ears method -- I don't think I've seen that one before (and great sig too).

I like crunchy things, not soft things, so I will usually eat brownies, enchiladas, or whatever else as close to the edge of the pan as possible. (My wife happens to like the soft parts, so we happen to be complementary there.)

I also go through bags of big sourdough pretzel bits and pick out the "center" part where the pretzel crosses itself, because it's denser and thus crunchier than the rest.

I even chew ice and gnaw on jawbreakers. (Perhaps this explains the TMJ.)

And... I like black jelly beans and licorice.

This is a quirk? I thought black jelly beans and licorice were coinage for gin rummy bets....

Hah. Remember the time Harpo fell asleep in the theater and dropped his bag of black jelly beans?

Quirks. I save bird feathers. I could probably build a couple parrots.

Oh. And I laugh. A lot. Others can vouch for this. Has nothing to do with whisky, either. If I type "LOL," it's because I am actually. (And sometimes I let people in on the joke.)

I remake my bed before getting in it to go to sleep, because I sit on it all day and everytime I slide off the bed, everything gets pulled closer to the floor on one side. Drives me mad.

I also toss my keys up into the air and catch them before opening the front door. No idea why I do this.

I can vouch for this. It's infectious, too.

Some of you have quirks, others have OCD.
