Default I may be out for a little bit...

I'm not really 100% sure at this point, but I've basically got some priorities I gotta get straight; and, I must admit, I've been kinda using this forum to aid my procrastination/avoidance of what I need to do. *sigh* So, like I said, I'm not sure. But I've either gotta lay off from the boards 'til I can get this stuff straight or maybe just back off a little and not try to keep myself so "busy" on here that I "can't" do what I need to do. Anyways, I'll be back around here sooner or later, I think.
By the way, I'm the girl in the picture, lol.... happily married though, so don't even...

If you don't mind my asking, what were you procrastinating about? If you don't answer before you come back, could you tell us then? Or is it something you're ashamed of and don't want to tell us about? I have so many questions, sorry. The idea of an ISTJ procrastinating seems a bit funny and out of character, actually.

Bummer! I was enjoying all the cool threads you were starting. But I guess if you must neglect us for real life it can't be helped.

    Good luck with your projects.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Lol...I am a chronic procrastinator in some respects. I guess it is funny because I am always punctual (if not early) for things, but when it comes to work or school assignments I almost always do them last mintue. I guess it's because I'm good at "ballparking" how long it will take me to do the assignment so I see no reason to do it before I need to. Realistically, I know I will always finish the assignment...it's just that having pressure and stress on me (although unpleasant) makes me much more efficient, focused, and driven. To me, procrastinating sometimes almost saves me time. Whenever I try to do things ahead of time it never works...my mind wanders or I get distracted or I rationalize and tell myself that I'm already ahead of the game so I don't need to work as hard.

Anyway, good luck with whatever things/projects you need to take care of Ransomed!

Interesting that you would take the time to make this post. But then...it happens to all of us at some point. (That's how we know you are still checking up on the forum, just not posting )

Do what you need to do, dear. Real life takes priority.
