lolfr. Now THAT is something I don't have going for me right now; but hey, my mother-in-law is a semi-retired beautician (at least in the sense that she's waitressing right now instead). So, yeah, it's my own fault. *sigh*

Well, I live in a great place... I really love my neighborhood and my house. In fact, whenever my mom mentions changing it in some way or says that someone els ehas abetter house I get extremely defensive. She also wants to renovate the basement, which breaks my heart because the walls are literally covered in great childhood memories. In other words, the walls are covered with dents, scrapes, paint chips, and holes in the walls caused by me and my neighbors between my ages of 5-8. Just looking around... it would really be sad to see it get turned into a "nice" room with a "good" paint job. I simply love that basement, it is almost like something I created in a sense. And, as I said, I love the house.
My family is really good. Although I feel angry at my sister for being such an over achiever all the time, I still enjoy talking to her very much. Me and my brother are very good friends. I am fourtunate to have such good parents, even if my dad is insanely gung-ho about everything, particularly school, to the point it is intimidating and frustrating, especially considering I do not share the same enthusiasms. Everything is always NOW NOW NOW, and that contrasts my laid back nature a lot. Regardless, hes still a great man.
I love to play guitar and read books... those are some seriously awesome things to do for me.
And if you're wondering why I mentioned some things that make me sad about the awesome things in life, think of it as me realizing what things are awesome even if I sometimes see it in a different way.
1. Awesome dream come true husband
2. no debt
3. we are wanting to start a family and put a bun in the oven and it is exciting
4. dream come true doggie
5. I get to be a big kid every day
6. I feel like I am growing more and am more comfortable with who I am everyday, still have a long long way to go but I feel like I am at least moving
taking a night class and doing well. when I complete this class I will be eligible for my 2-year degree. as a result of a 2-year degree I will be transferring to a new school and going full time and attempting a career switch.
I get along with my roommate. not quite close but good company. it's awesome because I enjoy it more than living alone.
I've been dancing/drinking/'partying' more lately and feel like I've been living it up a little - breaking down some of those self-conscious barriers (and pissing in a sink or two).
been feeling more fashionable lately with my revolutionized wardrobe.
signed up for one of those places that has mountain climbing walls... something fun to do since the winter is coming and making it more inconvenient to mountain bike.
and my birthday in a few days.. I don't mind aging.
