I walk as fast as possible when when I'm trying to get somewhere, but usually I have a fairly laid back kind of moderate pace, so I voted both with ENTP

This was on my "thread ideas" list that I keep by my bedside lol (how sad is that? :P).

Fast walker, I leave everyone in the dust, I'm a speed demon when I walk.

I find slow walkers really frustrating to walk with.

Oh, I know exactly what that's like. I always feel like running around in circles, around my friend, when I have to walk with a slow walking friend.

I am patient but I also can't stand people who take up all the sidewalk area walking side by side very, very slowly. Like tourists who make frequent stops in packs, completely blocking the passage to take pictures and yack on and on and on. Then I'm like: "Move, moooove, moooooooooooooooove!" Thinking

OMG, yes, this is maddening lol.

The sad thing is, I really have nowhere to be in a really big hurry, I just walk fast because I'm tall and have a long stride.

You would think that being such a daydreamer I would have a slow spaced out type of walk, but nope, I'm like a horse, you just can't slow me down.

I pretty much just put on my headphones, set a trajectory and launch myself at full speed towards it.

Plus I'm tall so I'm just naturally like twice as fast.

Yup, me too. My mother is a slower walker so sometimes I'll be half way down the street and have to stand and wait for her to catch up. Especially when she's window browsing along the street.

    Comme moi.

I stride. I don't understand dawdlers, and I tend to think that someone is less intelligent if they're a slow walker. That's not at all based on evidence, I know, but it's a personal prejudice :P

I have an INTJ friend who believes people should walk as they drive, and I totally agree. Slow people should wear warning signs in her opinion. I thought I got moody at slow people, but she practically bowls them over with disdain! Love it.

Maybe introverts walk faster because we're trying to get away from people? I know that's part of my reason. Plus, walking is boring! I just want to get to my destination.

Quite fast. Although I like observing the people around me as long as I'm not in the middle of really thinking about something else. One of my SJ friends expressed surprise at thinking about stuff while you walk. I was surprised to find out that not everyone does. I don't think I walk faster because I want to get out of talking to anyone. I just like the feeling of walking purposefully.
