    Default Hey, T's

T's, have you ever been moved to tears by a book or movie?

I mean, I've watched lots of depressing movies (I'm talking about you, Boy in the Striped Pajamas) and read lots of sad books, but the only one to ever make this T cry . . .

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I have no idea why. Anyway, I'm not alone, am I?

    What an in-depth answer.

I guess this thread was doomed to fail, due to its own nature.

The crieing already started when they shot that Jedi Twi'lek down, before the above scene, in a total overkill out from ambush -.-

Book? Never. Movie? Almost - and that's saying a lot.

It takes a hell of a lot of inspiration/emotion to actually make me cry. However, I may tear up without crying and I have done that from movies that have hit me right at my Fi.

it does seem sort of goofy asking if people have never been moved enough to cry, just because they class as a T on a personality test.

Human beings cry, if they're moved. T's just tend to be moved over different subsets of things, but there's still a lot of overlap.

...For a long time, art (books, movies, music) was the only thing that COULD move me to tears.

Same here, it might be an INTP thing.

I know I've done so more often than this, but the only times I can currently remember are in fifth grade, when I watched the non-Disney version of The Little Mermaid, and in sixth-grade after reading Les Miserables.

wait, what other things are there that can make you cry? I got all teary when Frank Sherbert wrote about his wife dying, I don't know what the hell triggered it, it was just sad. I was told that I should literally have a cry about failing my uni course or whatever, and that other people cry when they run over sheep and nearly get killed out on the road. Failing the course was upsetting, and I disliked the mood, but it was quickly destroyed by talking nonsense on the bus for an hour.
