I wouldn't mind weaponless combat, to be honest - although (otherwise) use a military knife.

It's small, lightweight, and stylish. That's normally how I prefer my choice of weapons.

Hmm. I think a voulge (type of polearm).

    Or a scimitar:

    Or a simple quarterstaff.

Now the cool thing about those three is if I just had the scimitar and the quarterstaff, I could make a polearm out of the two by tying one to the other.

Precisely... which is why a person can carry one around in a vehicle or on one's person and not arouse alarm.

Also, in a pinch, they do pretty well as a shovel.

It was discovered in about 1917 or so that an e-tool with the edge filed sharp is wicked in hand-to-hand.

    Gooseneck wrecking bar.

EDIT: Why in the FUCK would anyone use an e-tool for close combat? They suck. They're short. You can't even hold them like a shovel, or a club. They're a pain in the ass.

Big pic optimistic thinking, hiding the body after...like that.

A cool looking sword, like this, originating in Africa:

Blades coming out of every who-ha, so my lack of skill is covered. Also can be used effectively if thrown, like throwing knives. Just gonna make the handle all heavy-duty steel.

Or...I like those iron balls with nail spikes coming out (mace?).

    But..bigger balls!

    What I'd want to use:

What I'd actually use because I have it on hand:

Kantgirl: Just say "I'm feminine and I'll punch anyone who says otherwise!"
Halla74: Think your way through the world. Feel your way through life.

Cimarron: maybe Prpl will be your girl-bud
    prplchknz: i don't like it
