I usually do something along the lines of, "Hey, I'm the person who's currently corrupting your [friend/sister/boyfriend/etc.]!"
    [insert funny quote/saying/etc.]

Certainly not. I like having myself.

I say hi. My name. Nice to meet you. Then "Those are nice _______ , or "The weather is sure ______ isn't it?", "Do you like pineapple?"

Depends on my mood. If I'm feeling rather cheerful at the time, I'd blurt out all kinds of random shiz regardless of what my interlocutor would think of me.

Hi, I'm Stephanie, nice to meet you.

And then I don't know what to say after... I'm really bad at small talk.

What? I don't think I've ever introduced myself to someone and then said something about myself. "Hi, I'm Sid! I like apples." I don't get the question, so I'll just say what typically happens. We both say hi and tell each other our names, while we are head-nodding or hand-shaking. Then I'll ask a question. Maybe something like "So you're a musician, too?", or, "What brings you here?". It all depends on why we are meeting and what's going on.

I usually don't introduce myself formally at first. I'll just do what I normally do. We may end up having a conversation before we introduce ourselves, or we may have an opportunity to observe each for a while so we can decide if it's even worth it to introduce ourselves. I just figure we'll either attract or repel so I keep it simple. Without seeking anyone out just because I haven't met them before, I still make friends easily.

I build off something I know about them. Or mention something around us.

I say "Hi", and let them start the conversation. If I'm really wanting to talk to them I'll say, "Hey, what's goin' on?".

It depends on the context. "Hi," will probably be the first word. But I wouldn't say, "Hi, nice to meet you" unless I know something about the person I'm meeting. Any greeting has to be appropriate to the situation. And if someone asks me how I am out of politeness, expecting nothing more than "fine" as a response, I find it annoying.

Of course, everyone hates me, so let that be a lesson to ya...
