    Lightbulb Changing genders in dreams

This is something that I do rather frequently in my dreams, and I never really thought about it until my friends told me they never did.
It's not really something that stands out or happens with a lot of fanfare. It just sorta happens... like I'll start the dream as a female and end it as a male without any exact realization during the dream that it happened. I'll just wake up and know that at one point I was one gender and at another I was the other gender. I became interested when I brought it up in a class and no one could say they had similar dream experiences.

Does this happen to anyone else in their dreams?

When I'm female, I am my same self. When I'm male (as strange as that sounds to say), my physical features do change, but I'm still myself, in a way. I'm a physically feminine guy in my dreams, but I tend to be stronger and calmer. Sometimes.

I don't really understand why any of this is. I really am very surprised that it doesn't happen to many other people. Before, I just thought it was normal.

Interesting. I've dreamed that I was a guy before, too, and, during the dreams, it never seems like a big deal.
Do you think it has to do with being a female T? Maybe male Fs have stuff happen like this too...

I have no idea. It might. I thought that maybe a pattern might surface if I brought it up here. So far, I haven't heard of any guys doing it, though.

I really WISH I could have a dream like this. I always wonder what it'd be like to be the other gender, and I'd like to see what my unconscious mind thinks about it :P

What's weird about the experience, for me anyways (dunno if it's like this for cheerful-pessimist), is that there's no real change. I'm just suddenly aware that I'm a guy. Not much detail other than that.

I've done this on a rare occasion... and yeah it seemed like the most normal thing in the world, being female.

No, I haven't experienced this. Sometimes in my dreams it seems like I'm a kid, but that's about as different as I get.
