I vote 3 gorillas. 3 gorillas is what I put in my vote for.

    What about you?
Well, after watching the Charlie Chaplin movie "The Circus" (where a herd of tiny fuzzy monkeys escape from a suitcase and crawl all over him when he's on the highwire) I can safely say that little fuzzy monkeys in groups can be quite murderous.

However, I opt *against* gorillas. They get in one good hit, you're toast. Plus, murderous fuzzy monkeys are funny.

    ^ @ that picture.

Would you be laughing as fuzzy monkeys were being murderous with you? If you say yes, I'm fascinated.

I think gorillas might be nicer than monkeys but I'd rather be attacked by 13 monkeys cos monkeys are so cute and I can at least give them a kiss before they take little bites out of me.

Did you know that monkeys smile when they're scared? You also need to watch your drink around those sneaky little buggers.

You really should see that movie, or at least that part, because I laughed so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes. They jump on him and start throwing his balance off and biting his head and sticking their tails up his nose and in his mouth. It was hysterical.

I think Giggly makes a good point - little fuzzy monkeys can be smooched before they take you out, and you'd probably contract some weird disease from them which would kill you faster than they could. Gorillas still make bad odds.

this thread makes me think of the scene at the end of "Aguirre, the Wrath of God", with all the monkeys on the raft.

Being attacked by about 20 sloths would be interesting I think. You could have a slow motion fight with them.

well i could grab a monkey and use it as a weapon, also gorillas have more strength in their arm than most people in their whole body, so that's kind of scary and everything.
