Balance, taking responsibility, knowing your weak and strong points and working on both of them, decisiveness, knowing when to be humorous and when serious (or how to be both at the same time), being open to helping others, but also taking care of oneself.

I talked with my ENFP friend about this a while ago. She said she met a guy who appeared to be quite mature for his age and asked me if she gives of the same vibe. She was shocked to hear I didn`t think of her as mature. Don`t get me wrong, she has many great qualities, but maturity is not one of them. At least not in regard to her romantic relationships.

One part of maturity would be:

Choosing a constructive response rather than reacting impulsively

A commitment to emotional and intellectual growth; the deliberate application of what has been learned for the purposes of being a valuable member of your social sphere; actively reducing your burden on those around you.
There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

Online the word "maturity" is something people tend to call others who share their biases. We all do it.

Speak for yourself. I never called anyone mature in my life. It's an insult as far as I'm concerned.
