There are those in every type, more than likely.

ISTJ's can be fun sometimes. My ISTJ mom shops better than anyone I know, and she watches "The Howard Stern Show".
My ISTJ grandfather used to dance in his bedroom slippers in the kitchen before I went to school in the morning when I was little. He also used to growl like a bear and get a little thrill about ever so gently pressing my childhood gullibility for his own amusement with his little jokes. My grandfather had a lovely inner ENFP, but anyone who didn't know him extremely well would tell you how quiet, stern, and shy he appeared in his five pairs of beige pants and two pairs of exact same boots in black and brown...and he was so regimented that when he was 80 and going senile he got up one morning for work and started getting dressed for the job he hadn't gone to in nearly twenty years.

ISTJs are definitely the most boring type in existence.

**qualifying that by saying I do like them! I just find them boring.**

one of the absolute funniest guys i know: an ISTJ. i don't know a single person that doesn't like this guy or his humor. he's become incredibly popular for being so quick and off beat in humor, yet strong and very masculine, smart, etc. at the same time. me and his girlfriend are close friends, and we've always joked how he has an army like following.

his best friends are an ENTJ, INFJ, and ENFP. so intuitives alike would agree he's a pretty cool and interesting cat.

ENTJs and ENFPs will be amused by anything and like anyone. INFJs just like popular people.

Again, I'm going to take exception to this. When dealing in generalizations, one anecdotal example does not negate the average impression of a type.

I've met INTPs that can be charming and very personable. Does this mean INTPs in general are like that? No.

ISFP? I can believe it. I tend to find ISFPs exceptionally boring as well.

Is this stereotype thread or what?. No amount of ancedotes passed as evidence will prove shit ma friends.

Our horses are swift, our arrows sharp, our swords like thunderbolts, our hearts as hard as the mountains, our soldiers as numerous as the sand. Fortresses will not detain us, nor arms stop us. Your prayers to God will not avail against us. We are not moved by tears nor touched by lamentations."

Who says that's the "average impression" of the type? And even if it is, does that mean anything more than that introverts can come off as boring? Or that IT's can come off as boring?
