There is no boring personality type. Only boring people. And sometimes that's just situational boredom. Too many factors here.

Like others have said, it's real subjective, and my percpetion has changed since I posted here over a year ago. Sim had it correctly. (RIP) when it was just misunderstanding each other.

Yes, the same could be said about INTJs.

ISTJ generally speaking, but some ISTJs can actually be hilarious.

one of my best friends and also my father are ISTJs.

its all about understanding their sense of humor. they both laugh AT me a lot. but i dont mind, because i just like to hear them laugh!

what i hate is how both of them THINK that they are boring! because they are less likely to do spontaneous, stupid things. they are not boring. you just have to understand them and how they see the world.

Are they snarky? Do they come up with insane and entertaining ideas all the time? If not, they have failed at the holy trinity of not boring. Entertaining ISTJs tend to be kings of dry humor.

Yup, describes my ISTJ sister to a tee - wicked sharp wit and as outrageous as anyone I know.

    Date.

Still, ISTJ to ENTP is "huge" perceptional shift of personality, (unless person has repressed Ne which is impossible) which would make being INTP more reasonable.
