    you would be totally fired from mc donalds.

    They only take a minute and a half to give me a sandwich.

    And that actually requires manual labor to make, charge for, order, etc.

    A compliment should be instantaneous.

    Like the OP mentioned, this is similar to the those Free Hugs terrorists that patrol Comm Ave in Boston, along with Greenpeace people. They made me have to cross the street and brave terrible Boston drivers and half-asleep T operators just to avoid them.

    Though my favorite Greenpeace moment is when one of them shoved a picture of a Polar bear sitting alone on an iceberg and asked me "what I feel about the bear in this picture." I said I thought it'd make a tasty burger. The look on her face was priceless.

    I miss Boston.
