Reasons why I've received rep, in approximate order:

    1. I repped someone else, and they repped me back as a gesture of thanks or to comment further.
    2. As thanks for posting something nice to someone.
    3. Rep from an edgy joke. I noticed my edgier jokes get reps, while my sillier ones don't. I bet someone like Edgar has a ton of Rep.
    4. I made an insightful post that people appreciated.
    5. Someone felt the need to talk smack, and decided Rep comment was the best place to do it (instead of via PM or in the thread itself).
    6. While in debate with someone. (I suspect some people get lots of points from this.)
    7. Secret crushes looking for any excuse to talk to me. (Number of reps received so far in this category: 0)

There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to mar ENFP with, uh, unconfidence - I was puffing my chest when I made the list, though... you just couldn't see it! That's twice in two day's I've been told ffs... humph, perhaps I do a lot ffs!

FYI - the rep bait failed miserably

The problem is that you can get several reps on one post. So it's really not a true measure. To get the real number you have to manually go through and count how many unique posts received rep. The number you get this way is still a useful general measure of how much rep you get, but it's really not a measure of what percentage of your posts are repped.
