Default One gadget you wish you had

What's one gadget you wish you had?

It doesn't need to exist. It doesn't need to be plausible. Heck, I don't care if it's so specialized only you would find use for it.

I want a trust-worthiness indicator. It needs to be discreet, implantable, and have a discreet warning system. Only I need to know.

And I want the thing to work globally. Right from where I am, I wanna know if I can trust someone miles away.

Yup. I reckon if I had one of those I'd save myself and my loved ones a world of frustration and hurt. Heh. I'd probably even save money.

Since I was a kid I always wanted one of those remotes that could pause time for everyone but me. Partially to make my life easier as a chronic procrastinator and partially so I can spend more time lost in my hobbies.

Other than that, a time machine to see back in time would be cool. But I don't want to interact with the past, just something that can make me an invisible observer. I love history and I'm really curious how things really happened.

I wish I had something that would enable me to see in multiple dimensions so I could see the structures in say the 4-th or 5-th dimensions (Or even 2.5 or 1/3).

The machine from the lawnmower man.

With such a device I could rule the world with my nefarious schemes!!!

Oh and being psychic would be cool.

Ah! I'd like unlimited energy supplies I can carry in my pocket. Wait! One that runs off my own energy source.

So, I want to be able to plug a laptop into my metabolism : 1) I can use it for hours in a setting without power 2) I'll lose weight as it consumes my excess fat.

A gadget that gets the wash out of the dryer, folds or hangs it up, and puts it away.

A gadget that plays the heavy with my kids so I don't have to be the bad guy, but they still turn out okay.

A gadget that fills in the holes my dog digs under the fence as soon as she digs them so she never goes running the neighborhood getting into peoples' garbage again.

    Also an iPhone.

Edit: Oops! It says one. Definitely sticking with the laundry put-awayer.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Haha, that's a good one. When you happen to invent it, please drop me an e-mail. I like to eat and don't like to do excercises.

Perfect gadget - Heavy food containers.

Like those sweets which only dispense one at a time so you'd have to keep lifting the weight to get the food. Exercise for food
