Default Who wants to be the richest and most popular person as well?

I love this idea. I want to be as popular as Jesus, Bill Gates, the pope, and Hitler. I feel I could live my life the way I want to finally then.

Not me. I want to be invisible to the general public but behind the scenes I'm the one with the real power.
    I know a girl, she's one of a kind
But the poor little thing, she's going out of her mind
    There's something you forgot - there's a reason why she's lost
Cos baby she don't want to be found

I agree there. Bill Gates is also very reserved.

I'd take the riches but the popularity can live without me.

I wouldn't mind being obscenely wealthy, just because it would enable me to not ever have to worry about money. BUT, with the good comes the bad, and having a ton of money and being generous with it means you start attracting a lot of users and hangers-on. Same with fame. I wouldn't mind so much being author-famous. The people who like your stuff know who you are, and your name probably opens a few doors for you that are closed to the anonymous. But people don't sift through your trash or take pictures of you everytime you step outside your house. I'd never want Paris Hilton fame.

It seems like the young, rich and famous in Hollywood don't have many true friends. They have a bunch of yes-men and enablers, and that seems like a very sad life.

Though I'd wager the PC guy from those Mac commercials is more popular than him.

I feel I need popularity to find friends. It seems to me most popular people are a lot like me.
