You can't always do it right, you can always do what's left.

Someone has mentioned this I'm sure, but I'll throw my 2 cents in. The picture seems to be a visual representation of the old Nietzsche quote: "Whoever battles with monsters had better see that it does not turn him into a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you."
"How can I be, all I want to be,
When all I want to do is strip away these stilled constraints
And crush this charade, shred this sad, masquerade"

It's a hybrid of an intellectualy dishonest piece of art and one of those puzzles where one tries to spot the out of place objects such as the pellet gun and the horns and the out of the ordinary wall paper design glued on her/his basement. The intellectual dishonesty was not the intent because it turned out to be a decent piece of art work. Where it comes into play is the fact that it's original intent was to be a psychological puzzle.
everyone uses every function about evenly. take NE for example. if there are those who don't use it much, then why are there such massive amounts of people constantly flowing through Wallmart with 20 items or less?

Ok, I'm answering before I read the thread so that I'm not swayed, but when I saw this picture I got the impression that she's killing something else (maybe an animal, a person, etc.) and by killing ... or murdering? ... she's also killing/destroying herself, or a part of herself, either psychically or literally.

Wow, my interpretation is very Harry Potter-ish *goes back to read other people's answers*

I thought about "self-sabotage". It took me a second look to notice that white bird, believe it or not(funny how I noticed the random pin in her head but not the bird). I thought it was cut at the "tip" and placed behind her as a way of showing that we might think we've "hit" something when we're really screwing ourselves up.

Edit: This is such an awesome thread! People should post more picture like this in this one. (just a suggestion)

    To me, the picture says:

"I am schizophrenic who feels I wasn't loved as a child. I love nature, specially if it perches in my antlers, and have a severe phobia of flying."

There is no beginning and no end
