    Default What about Indiana?

I see the threads and I'm curious.

I'm thinking of going to college at University of Indiana. So, that would be, well, Bloomington?

Also any information on Austin, Champagne-Urbana, and Durham would be cool, too.

I dunno firsthand, but my high school buddy went to Butler University there in indiana. He said the female/male ratio at most Unis in Indiana was like 6/1. He was quite happy there....

Maybe I'll have to rethink it, then...

maybe, but then again you're INTJ - think of the advantages! Being BF-less for four years will do your GPA and intellect wonders :P

Actually, being an INTJ just makes it worse. I need a handicap like in golf to even have a snowball's chance in Hell, right? So perhaps I'd be better off going to Purdue, where the female/male ratio is about 1:4.

IU is a good school. There's a lot of students, but they still manage to be rather exclusive. Their business school is really good, too. And the campus is absolutely beautiful! There's a lot of trees and plenty of room to walk, but if you're not into spread out campuses, it may not be the best for you. But they have buses and stuff, so it's not that bad. It's got its party-goers, if you're into parties, and it's got other, more academic extracurricular activities too. There's a lot of history there, and their art museum's pretty interesting. It's an awesome school.
About Purdue... I hate Purdue. It's got a great business school as well, and its engineering school's top-notch, but the campus is not all that great (in my opinion). And they're really anal about transfer credits, AP stuff, dual-credit stuff, etc, from what I've heard. I've heard stories from more than three people about Purdue doing what it can to get money out of people, including telling a girl to take classes she didn't need, which made her stay an extra year. But a lot of people like it, so I don't know. :/

LOL, I was just kidding about Purdue, if I wanted to go to a technical school I'd go to Rolla. :P

I was talking more about the city rather than just the campus, though.

Well... I don't know too much about Bloomington, besides that it's not that far from Indianapolis. It's gotta be better than most cities in Indiana. It'll probably have the usual bookstores, local cafes, bars, maybe a club or two... If you're a big city person, you might find it boring.
