I've lost count lol not because I've done it many times, but because I have a shabby memory.

Only a handful of times that I am aware of.

I say "lol" and occasionally other majiggers. Mostly sarcastically.

It happened to me last week:

Friend: Telling a RL joke/anekdote that happend to him
    Me: "LOL"
Friend: "ROFL, you just said LOL in real life"

    Silence

We both burst out in laughter...

I've thought it but haven't quite said LOL at work. It would be tres embarrassing to say it there. I've also very nearly described my life outside of work as real life (RL). Heh.

I have decided to KILL MYSELF if that ever happens!

With that said, I have found myself looking for and pressing command f when looking at the newspaper in an effort to find the keywords I'm looking for.

My kittens name is ROFLMAO, for when he finds the mouse, he portrays smileage and rolls amongst the floorboards.

I haven't actually said these out loud (I don't speak English that often) but there are plenty of times I've thought about saying them.

I've done this too. Ctrl+F ftw!

This is actually why I support the digitization of at least the theoretical texts (although I wouldn't mind all genres of literature to be digitized as well).

It's such a drag to know that you've read something in a theoretical text of about 600 pages but you didn't mark it down and you don't remember where the quote was exactly.

I don't use those acronyms even online, so that's never happened to me.

^^^ This, I've done, however. I've also had the instinct to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete whenever my register at work screws up.
